Cecelia G. Davis, 79, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on September 22, 2016 at the Martin Medical Center, Stuart, FL.
Born in Fairton, NJ, she had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 32 years coming from Cedarville, NJ.
Before retiring she was a teacher and an author. She had been an instructor at Indian River State College. She received her bachelor's degree from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ and also had done studies for her master's degree at Barry University in Miami Shores, FL.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Davis of Port St. Lucie; her daughter, Sonja Walesch and her husband Robert, of Stuart, FL; her son, Michael Davis of Cedarville, NJ; her sisters, Sondra Brecht and her husband Kenneth of Avon, FL and Harriet Marguglio of Millville, NJ and her granddaughters, Amanda Davis of Roslyn, NY and Kelly Davis of Riverview, FL. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Schewlakow; her sister, Betty Marco; her brother, Harry Grace and her brother-in-law, Anthony Marguglio.
