Cecilia Staudacher Wormser

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our loving and devoted mother, Cecilia Staudacher-Wormser (82), on September 23, 2020.

Cecilia was born on September 26, 1937 to Conrad Staudacher and Anastasia Kielbasa and grew up in Chicago, Illinois as the youngest of five. She attended De Paul University, earning degrees in education and physical therapy.  After becoming the beloved wife of George Wormser, they raised their two children in Palm City.  Together, Cecilia and George, enjoyed life by traveling the world.  Before retirement, Cecilia was an educator.  She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

Cecilia is survived by daughters Valerie Bois and her husband, Alan, of Nottingham, NH; Sharon Moylan and her husband, Thomas, of Valrico, FL; grandchildren Mason, Ava, and Joseph; her sister, Shirley Hart, of Chicago, IL; brother Robert Staudacher his wife, Jean, of Chicago, IL and will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Cecilia is preceded in death by her husband, George V. Wormser, her brother Conrad Staudacher, and her sister Mary Bosh.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.   Interment will follow immediately at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
