Celia Casert a , age 95, of Port St Lucie, FL passed away peace fully on March 31, 2023. Celia was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 19, 1928, to Marie and Felix Farenga. Celia married James Caserta on November 21, 1949, and together they had 4 children, Barbara, Linda, Charles, and Richard. Celia moved to Florida from New York in 1999 where she enjoyed retired life with her husband, friends , and family.

Celia was a quiet, caring wom a n who se biggest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted wife , mother , grandmother and great grandmother who showed love for family . She enjoyed playing tennis, golf , and dancing . She had a passion for gardening and cultivating plants and flowers.

Celia is survived by her daughter Linda, 2 sons Charles (and wife Sarita) and Richard (and wife Holly) , 6 grandchildren Beth, Jennifer, Lauren, Nicolas, Krista, and Chandler , 2 great granddaughters, Gracie, and Kensly , and 1 great grandson , Weston . She w a s preceded in death by her husband James of 59 years, her parents, her eldest daughter Barbara, her sister Mary, and her grandson James.

Celia recently celebrated her 95 th birthday where she was surrounded by family and friends. Celia was able to spend time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends during the last weeks of her life.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours from 1 :00 pm – 3 :00 pm on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Forest Hills Funeral Home , 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL 34990. F uneral services will be conducted immediately following visiting hours by Father Jack of St Andrew Catholic Church, Stuart, FL.
