Obituary

Charles C. Baldwin, 89, of Port St. Lucie, passed away June 7, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Chicago, IL and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie since 1988, having moved from Hazel Crest, IL. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the U.S. Army, and following the war he served as an occupation soldier in Korea as a medic, 1945-1946. He had been an electrician for 40 years, with the IBEW Local 134 in Cook County, IL before retirement. He was a member of North Stuart Baptist Church in Stuart, and had been very active with Habitat for Humanity.

He is survived by his son, Daniel Baldwin of Port St. Lucie and brother, Ronald Baldwin of Sarasota. He was preceded in death by his son, David Baldwin, and wives, Priscilla Baldwin and Jean Kohler Baldwin.

Visitation: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday, June 13, 2016 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel.
Funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel, with Pastor Bob Searle officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
