Other survivors include his nieces Kristen McCormick Hudak of Birmingham, Alabama; Mickayla Crouse Wheeler of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; and Kimberly McCormick Osmond of Bainbridge Island, Washington; and his nephews Ronald Stephen Crouse of New Smyrna Beach, Florida and Karl David McCormick of Raleigh, North Carolina. Other survivors include great nieces; Cassandra Crouse, Kathryn Hudak, Allison Hudak, Stephanie Osmond, Baylee Crouse, Emma Crouse and great nephews; Joel Crouse and Cole Crouse.

After graduation from Central High School in Syracuse, Chuck received his Bachelor of Arts degree from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York, and a Masters degree in Economics from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and lived in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, for much of his life, where he worked in the automotive industry. Chuck retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1990 after more than 35 years of service. In 1990, he and wife wife, Barbara, moved to Florida, where they have resided in Willoughby and Palm City, Florida for the past 18 years.

Chuck was an avid tennis player and an active volunteer at the Hope Rural School and the Manors of Hobe Sound. He and his wife Barbara also loved to travel the world and he never tired of exploring new countries and new cultures. His interests in history, philosophy and religion were rivaled only by his love of his faith, tennis and family.
