Born December 13, 1935, in Philadelphia, PA, Charles was raised with great love and care by his Mother Editha, his Grandparents Joe and Annie and his Aunt Ruth. He received Bachelor and Master Degrees from Temple University and was a National Collegiate Champion in gymnastics and swimming. Charles married Carol Laux in 1959 and was blessed with two beautiful daughters Carole and Linda and granddaughters Christina, Jaimie and Daniella. Each, also, dedicated to him with great love and care.

He was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard in1964.

Charles was an educator and an administrator for the Vineland NJ Public School System. Before his retirement as Principal of Vineland High North, he was an active worker for the United Way, UNICEF, Cancer Crusade, No Special Olympics, American Red Cross, YMCA and the Vineland Ecumenical Council. At his retirement, he received commendations from law, educational, religious and political groups and organizations.
