Obituary of Charles Taylor
Charles W. Taylor Jr., 78 of Stuart, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Martin Medical Center, Stuart.
Born in Parma, Ohio he had been a resident of Stuart and Palm City for 27 years coming from Miami, FL.
He was of the Baptist Faith.
During the Korean War he served in the U.S. Army. He was also had served in the National Guard.
Before retiring he was a corrections officer at the Martin County Correctional Facility in Indiantown, Florida. He also had been a photographer for NASA and a police officer. He was a member of the National Fraternal Order of Police
Survivors include a daughter, Rochelle Harnage and her husband Ricky of Stuart, sons, Charles Taylor and his wife Joyce and Michael Taylor all of Port Salerno; eight grandchildren, Jason Taylor, Nicholas Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Nicole Gomez, Brandon Gomez, Daniel Seacrest, Rachelle Sanbarelli and Charles Taylor; a brother, Joseph Taylor of Baltimore, MD; a niece, Eva Ethel Stone of Bel Air, MD, a grand nephew, Jake Taylor Stone and a grand niece, Alexandria Marie Stone. He is preceded in death by a daughter Nancy Taylor.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 2:00 to 2:30 PM on Friday, October 25, 2012 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel. There will be a funeral service at 2:30 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow immediately in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City with military honors provided by the US Army.
