Obituary of Charlotte Bates
Charlotte Sylvia Bates, 89, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Salerno Bay Manor in Stuart.
Born in Utica, NY, she moved to Palm City in 1980 from New Hartford, NY and moving to Stuart in 2007.
She was a retired executive secretary. She worked for Mohawk Airlines which later became Allegheny Airlines.
She was a member of the Roman Catholic faith.
Survivors include her sons, Alan Bates and wife, Veronica of Port St. Lucie; Richard L. Bates, Jr. and wife, Joyce of New Hartford, NY; daughter, Sheila Rennert and husband, Bruce of Raleigh, NC; eight grandchildren, Ivan and Brandon Bates; Michael, Richard, III, Briana and Sean Bates; and Samuel and Jacob Rennert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Bates, Sr. on October 22, 2002.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SW Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997
Services: Calling hours will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Funeral Home followed. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Hills Funeral Home. A guest registry may be signed at www.foresthillsfunerals.com.
