Obituary of Chester Gould

Chester T. Gould, 89, of Palm City, Florida, died December 9, 2009 at his residence.

Born in Lynbrook, New York, he lived in Palm City for 15 years coming Babylon, Long Island, New York.

Prior to retiring he was a glazier. And owner/operator of Babylon Auto Glass of 31 years.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Stuart. He was a former member of the Babylon Methodist Church, Babylon, New York where he was a member of the choir, the drama club and was on the board of directors. He was a lifetime member of the Lions Club, Babylon and an avid golfer.

Survivors include his wife of years, Barbara Gould of Palm City; sons Douglas Gould of Mamaroneck, New York, Scott Gould of Arkville, New York and Steven Gould of Riverhead, New York; a brother, John Gould of Dallas, Texas; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Earl Gould and Baird Gould.

SERVICES: There will be a memorial gather on December 11, 2009 from 3:00 to 5:00 with a service at 4:30 PM at Forest Hills Funeral Home - Palm City Chapel with Rev. Phil Short of the First United Methodist Church officiating..
