Obituary of Christen Bogenrief

Christen Jeanne Bogenrief, 30, of Glen Burnie, MD, formerly of Palm City, died unexpectedly in her sleep, July 2, 2011. Born in Abington, PA, she had lived in Severna Park, MD, until 1992 when she moved to Florida with her parents. She was a 1999 graduate of Martin County High School and earned an AA degree at IRSC, later studying at FSU and receiving in 2002 a degree in history from UCF. After graduating, she did office work and was a substitute teacher in Martin County and Anne Arundel County, MD. Recently, she has been employed in accounts receivable at Westland Printers, Laurel, MD. During high school she was a member of the Martin County Swim/Dive Team and an officer of the RYLA Club (Rotary).

Christen is survived by her parents, Robert and Sidney Carlson Bogenrief of Palm City, a sister, Anne-Elise Eastlake of Halethorpe, MD, and three nephews and a niece. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Robert and Anna Bogenrief and her maternal grandparents Carl and Jean Carlson.

Visitation: 7:00PM - 8:30PM, Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.

Service: 1:00PM, Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.

Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
