Christie Dean Grien, 58, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Stuart, FL.

Born in Pittsfield, MA, she was a resident of Stuart for 37 years coming from Pittsfield.

She had been a customer service representative with Kmart/Sears for 28 years.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Robert Grien, her daughter, Erin Thomas and her husband Michael of Atlanta, GA her grandchildren, Caleb, Jonah, Micah and Isaiah Thomas; four siblings, Carl Dean and his wife Angela of Claremont, NC, Lisa Hunter and her husband Paul of North Andover, MA, Vicky Kolodziej and her husband Fran of Pittsfield; Jeffrey Dean and his wife Lisa of Pittsfield; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Maggie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Jeanette Dean and her sisters, Jennifer Dean and Connie Ewing, her twin and her brother, Craig Dean.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM on August 20, 2016 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL. There will also be a celebration of life at Sandsprit Park following the service. Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
