Christine Anderson, 71, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Christine was born December 19, 1951 in New York to James and Helen Kuretski. She was the second oldest of seven children, including Marge, Jim, Doreen, John, Mary, and Karen. Christine was the loving mother to her son, Frederick Anderson, and his wife, Cynthia; and a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren, Kaela, Kalani, Alex, and Noah.

She worked as a postal carrier for most of her life in Fort Lauderdale, Florida until she moved to Port St. Lucie and settled in as part of the inseparable trio, lovingly referred to by family as the "Golden Girls". Christine was an avid reader and took great joy in looking after animals, especially her dog, Lady.

She was fiercely devoted to her family and her faith. Christine was a tremendous warrior, who fought tirelessly for her family and the animals she loved so dearly. She was a firm believer in "God never gives you more than you can handle" and lived by those words everyday.

The funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 18th with visitation and services from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Hills Memorial Park, with the burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or the Humane Society of St. Lucie County in honor of Christine Anderson is preferred.
