Obituary

Christine Ann Rinaldi, daughter of Dr. Dennis Raymond Rinaldi Sr and Carolyn Alice Lindhorst Rinaldi passed away on October 18, 2021 at 3:54am in the loving company of her family at Treasure Coast Hospice.

Tina, a native Floridian was born in Hollywood, Florida August 31, 1960. She grew up in the Stuart area attending St. Joseph's Catholic School before attending John Carroll High School in Fort Pierce for 3 years then completing her Senior year at Martin County High School. Tina played #1 on her High School tennis Teams while also cheer leading. She was a natural beauty nominated to the Homecoming Court and earned numerous academic and sport awards along with extra curricular awards throughout her High School and collegiate years. Tina played many sports as a youngster but competed in USTA Florida sanctioned tennis events and National tennis events where she succeeded with her athletic talents. Tina along with brother Denny and sister Kathy often traveled together with their parents to compete in tennis tournaments and they have warm memories of this time spent together. She eventually earned a full scholarship to the University of Virginia. Not only did Tina excel in tennis but she also excelled in the classroom finishing fifth out of her senior class which also qualified her for an academic scholarship to UVA. Tina was accepted into UVA's Business School.

Tina made her home in Palm City where she served McDonald's for 30 years without missing a day of work. To know Tina was to love Tina! She was beloved by all, especially her Family. She had a profound impact on her siblings, especially her sister Kathy, always supporting and encouraging her as her #1 fan. Her smile and laughter was infectious and she touched the lives that came into contact with her. Tina also cherished her neighbors and friends, loved spending time at the beach, loved animals especially her cats, was very talented with arts & crafts, knew how to find the best deals when shopping and she loved her bike! Tina was an incredible role model of bravery, strength, compassion and love. You could find Tina supporting her nephews at all their sporting events and encouraging them in the classroom. She was the best babysitter and quickly became the favorite Aunt! She adored her nephews!

She is survived by her sister Kathy, brother-in-law Brad Stunkel, and her nephew Duke, eldest brother Dr. Dennis Rinaldi, his wife Debbie, nephews Michael and Denny, brother Bill Rinaldi, his wife Diama and nephews Rocco and Dominic.

We love you Tina, we miss you dearly and we will cherish every moment spent with you! Together forever!
