IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christine Marie
Woodell
December 27, 1932 – December 15, 2023
Christine (Tina) Woodell
December 27, 1932—December 15, 2023
Tina Woodell, 90, passed away December 15, 2023, after many months of suffering from complications stemming from a fall at her home in May. She fought with tenacity, grace, strength, and courage as she overcame hurdle after hurdle during her journey through life.
She was born December 27, 1932, in Syracuse, NY, to James and Sarah (D'Agostino) Barletta. She grew up in Syracuse and moved to Florida in 1975, and has lived in Port St. Lucie, FL, for about 20 years. She was predeceased by her parents; her sons, Michael Dalfo and Ronnie Dalfo, and her siblings, Shirley Fernald, Frank Barletta, Angeline Nappa, Peter Barletta, and Jimmy Barletta. She is survived by her son, Christopher (Lorraine) Dalfo, and her daughter, Michelle Marie Dalfo (and Carey Persoon, who was like a son to her); grandchildren Michael James (Melissa) Persoon, David (Rannie) Dalfo, Alicia (Jack) Linn, and Chelsea (Ryan) Haboush; 10 great-grandchildren; her brother, Joseph Barletta; her sister, Linda Kingsley; and many nieces and nephews.
Even at 90, Tina was a force to be reckoned with. She was both a career woman and a mom at a time when that wasn't customary. She had successful careers as a real estate broker and as a restauranteur; in addition, she volunteered with numerous different organizations, including Hospice and the local police department. She had a keen eye for interior decorating and was an exceptional cook. She was very generous and giving to her family. One of her favorite activities was finding treasures at garage sales. Tina didn't hesitate to let you know what she was thinking. She was firm in her beliefs and loved her family with deep intensity.
Please join us in celebrating the life of Tina Woodell on Friday, December 29. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. and followed by a funeral service from 1 p.m.–2 p.m. at Forest Hills Funeral Home, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL, 34990. Her beloved dog Zuzu will be interred with her.
