Obituary of Clarence Blanchard

Clarence Blanchard, 90, of Jensen Beach, died Thursday February 6, 2014at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce. He was born in Old Town, ME, and had been a resident of the Treasure Coast for 35 years, having moved from Miami. Previously helived in Warren, NH, Pepperell, MA and Onville, ME. He was a master cabinet maker before retirement. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #10066. Clarence was an avid antique collector, buying and selling antiques all along the eastern sea board. He will be missed dearly by his family and the many, many friends he made during his lifetime.

He is survived by his son Clarence E. Blanchard Jr. of Pownal, ME, his daughter, Susan Blanchard Powell of Miami; son, daughter, Mary Jane Cutler of Groton, MA ; son, Robert Blanchard of Dover, NC; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister ,Florence Stockwell of Pittsfield, ME and brothers, Carl Blanchard Jr. of Bradford, ME and Irvin Blanchard of Bangor, ME. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Randi Jean Miller.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. February 12, 2014 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel, Palm City, FL where he will be interned with his wife of 62years, Mildred.

Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
