Obituary of Claryce Baker
Claryce Baker, 98, of Stuart, FL, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Harper House, Stuart.
She was born and raised in Opp, Alabama. Once married, Claryce spent many years in Bluffton, South Carolina. Over 40 years ago, she became a resident of Stuart, Florida.
Claryce spent her life dedicated to her family. She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Stuart where she volunteered in the church thrift shop and she was an active member of the ECW.
Survivors include her son Dr. Ralph Baker Jr. of Stuart, her granddaughters, Jennifer Earl of Lake Mary, FL and Ellen Towers of Oviedo, FL and her great grandchildren, Peyton Earl, Sawyer Earl, Gavin Towers, Brodie Towers and Kaylyn Towers. Her husband, Ralph Baker Sr., preceded her in death.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Stuart. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
