Clement McCoy, of Port St. Lucie, FL. Passed away on October 21, 2016 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Fort Pierce, FL.
Born in Pointe Michel, Commonwealth of Dominica, he had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 12 years, coming from Brooklyn, N.Y. and London, UK.
Before retiring he was a building inspector for the City of New York, Department of Housing and Redevelopment agency. He also had been a master carpenter.
He was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Dorothy McCoy; his sons S Casimir McCoy of Berkeley, CA., Stephenson McCoy of Delaware and Eric McCoy of Comm. of Dominica; his daughters, Noela Haddock of Bronx, NY, Pamela Lyte of Long Island, NY and Ramona McCoy of London, UK; his sisters, Veronique Glasgow, of St Thomas, US Virgin Island, Ruth Gabriel, of Comm. of Dominica/Bronx, NY and Claudia Gabriel of Martinique, French West Indies; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 PM on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
