Clinton G. Simmons, III passed away suddenly after a very brief illness on July 16, 2026, with his family by his side. He was born in Hackensack, NJ to Clinton and Alexandra Simmons, their only child. Clinton is survived by his wife of 34 years, Krista Simmons, his daughter, Anja Simmons, and his mother-in-law Kaija Hakala, all of Palm City. He was known by those close to him for his dry, quick wit, ironic and satirical sense of humor, often keeping his family in stitches. Clinton was a Mercedes-Benz Master Technician for over 20 years. He will be remembered as a generous and supportive teacher and mentor.

At his request, there will not be a formal service, but instead his ashes will be spread privately at sea by his family. He was a very private person who didn’t want to be fussed over, and we are trying to honor his wishes. He will be desperately missed by his wife and daughter.
