Obituary of Clotilde Ponzo
Clotilde "Chickie" Ponzo, 75, of Palm City, Florida, died April 28, 2011 at Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Weston, Florida.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, she lived in Port St. Lucie and Palm City for 21 years, coming from Waldwick, New Jersey.
She was of the Catholic Faith. Prior to retirement, she was a waitress.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Dominick Ponzo of Palm City; daughters, Carolann Rogers of Aventura, Florida, Donna Ponzo of Stuart, Florida, and Dolores Brown of Cave Creek, Arizona; a son Dominick Ponzo of New Windsor, New York; a brother Michael Carollo of Shirley, New York; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Danette Lott and five siblings.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM on May 4, 2011 at Forest Hills Funeral Home - Palm City Chapel. There will be a Vigil Prayer service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on May 5, 2011 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with entombment to follow immediately in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City.
