Obituary of Costadino Iacoviello
Costadino M. "Dino" Iacoviello 82, of Port St. Lucie, died June 30, 2013 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Fort Pierce.
He was born in Flushing, New York and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for over 17 years coming from Hollywood, Florida. He moved to Florida from West Hempstead, New York.
During the Korean War he serviced in the U.S. Army
Prior to retiring he had been an accountant for Entenmann's Bakeries in Miami for 20 years and before that an office manager for Nuzzi Fuel in New Hyde Park, New York for 20 years. In his retirement he also worked at the Publix Supermarket in St. Lucie West.
He was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, St. Lucie West. He was a very active member with the B.P.O. Elks St Lucie West Lodge 2823; a member of the Port St. Lucie Lodge #513 of the Loyal Order of Moose and volunteered as a poll worker for the St. Lucie County Board of Elections and the United Way.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Stella Iacoviello of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Donna Haramus of Port St. Lucie and Maria Brockel of St. Louis, Missouri; sisters, Irene Reichert of Port St. Lucie and Carmen DiGeorge of Fort Pierce; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Thomas Iacoviello.
Services: Visitation will be from 2:00 t0 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM on July 3, 2013 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel with a Vigil Prayer service at 7:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on July 5, 2013 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, St. Lucie West. Entombment will follow in the Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City.
