Craig Douglas Rich, 68, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in Palm City, FL. He was born on April 26, 1951, in Orlando, FL.  A Martin County resident for the past 27 years, Craig moved to the area to pursue his passions and business endeavors in the offshore fishing boat industry and real estate development.

He attended Mercer University to row crew in 1969 and later graduated from Florida Technical University (UCF) in 1973. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.  As a native Floridian, he was happiest on the water, in the woods, and sharing his vast knowledge of the outdoors with others.

Affectionately known as Poppa to his grandchildren, Craig was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by many.

Preceded in death by his parents Gene and Nancy Rich. He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Donna Susan Rich, of Palm City, FL; his loving children Ryan Rich (Nicole) of Orlando, FL; Robin Rich Blalock (Wade) of Maitland, FL; Meghan Hoza Hodde (Hank) of Stuart, FL; Ty Hoza (Heather) of Stuart, FL; and his cherished grandchildren Anderson, Cole and Rich Blalock, Merritt and Walker Rich, Knox and Izzy Hoza, and Hutchinson Hodde. Siblings, A. Wayne Rich (Gwen) of Orlando, FL; Sandra Rich Ellington (John) of Lakeland, FL; Michael Rich of Orlando, FL, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Francis Langford Pavilion at Indian Riverside Park on Saturday, July 27 ^th , 2019 from 1-4pm. Further Details will be available at www.ForestHillsPalmCityFlorida.com
