Cruz "Tony" Antonio Hernandez Jr., of Port St. Lucie, passed away unexpectedly April 2, 2019 at his residence.  He was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to South Florida in 1974 where he spent his childhood.  He relocated to Port St. Lucie in 1999.  He had worked at Wal-Mart as an assistant manager.  He had played Driftwood Baseball, and was an avid player. He was of the Catholic Faith.

He is survived by his wife, Candy Priscilla Hernandez; his parents, Cruz Antonio Hernandez Sr. and Marie Esther Hernandez of Port St. Lucie; his brothers, Robert M. Hernandez of North Carolina and Carl P. Hernandez of Port St. Lucie; aunts and uncles, 3 nephews and 1 niece; numerous cousins and his beloved dog Tony.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Forest Hills Funeral Home Palm City Chapel.

A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the chapel.

Burial will take place in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City following the service.
