Obituary of Curt Thermann

Bernhardt "Curt" Thermann

December 4, 1935 - August 18, 2012

Curt passed away on August 18, 2012 at his home surrounded by family after battling cancer. He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 28 years Pam. As well as 3 daughters, Lynne Thermann (Claryville, NY), Jennifer Baldwin (Friendsville, TN), Elizabeth Vail (Orlando, Fl) and a son Philip Langbehn (Oakland, CA). He also leaves his beloved 3 grandchildren, Justin and Victoria Vail (Orlando, Fl) and Savanna Baldwin (Friendsville, TN). Curt is also survived by 2 sisters, Eleanor Griswold (Nipomo, CA) and Sylvia DeLuca(Southold, NY), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Curt was born December 4, 1935 in Bronx, New York. He served honorably in the US Air Force during the Korean War. In 1976, he moved to Stuart, Florida. Curt was a pilot, a sailor and an avid fisherman. To him nothing was better than being on the water early in the morning watching the sunrise. He was the owner and operator of Thermaco Marine Transmissions for over 30 years and most of his clients became good friends. He will be remembered by his friends and family for his genuine interest in their lives and his humorous stories.

There will be a Celebration of Curt's Life on September 29th at 2:00pm, to be held at Circle Bay Yacht Club Clubhouse, 1950 SW Palm City Road, Stuart, FL. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Treasure Coast Hospice.
