Obituary of Daniel Buckman

Daniel J. Buckman, 67, of Jensen Beach, died April 19, 2012 at Martin Memorial Health Systems in Stuart. He was born in Oceanside, NY and had been a resident of Jensen Beach for 14 years, having moved from Marco Island, FL. He had been a Detective on the Nassau County Police Force, Long Island, NY for 20 years before retirement. Veteran of the U. S. Navy during Vietnam War, Helicopters early warning system.

He was a member of American Legion Post 126, Jensen Beach, Fl.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bernadette Buckman of Jensen Beach; daughter, Theresa Ballou, of Palm City, FL, sons Christopher Buckman, of Green Bay, WI., Matthew Buckman, of Jensen Beach, Fl., 6 grandchildren, brothers John Buckman, of Jupiter, FL., Michael Buckman , of Long Island, NY.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 28, 2011 at 10:00 AM at American Legion Post 126, 3195 NE Savannah Rd, Jensen Beach, FL.
