IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David M
Hull
February 14, 1938 – June 24, 2021
Dave was born on Valentine's Day, February 14 th , 1938, in Columbus, Ohio, and passed away June 24 th , 2021, Hobe Sound, Florida. Dave grew up in Columbus, Ohio and went to Central High School of Columbus where he had the nickname of Slick. October 16 th , 1960, he married Carolyn Catchpole whom he met at the downtown Lazarus when they were young adults. He would say he was always thirsty so that he could go to the water fountain to see this cute girl in the COD department. His main career was that of a kitchen remodeler for the Jae Company Kitchen and Bath. Dave was a Freemasonry with the Neoacacia Masonic Lodge #595. Dave lived in the Columbus area until he and Carolyn retired permanently to Vero Beach, Florida.
Dave was a tinkerer always working on some type of construction project; a teacher to his two sons imbibing in them their construction abilities, strong work ethics; and an active Christian. He attended the Linden Church of Christ and Sunbury Christian in Ohio and later the Vero Beach Christian Church in Florida. Dave had an ornery sense of humor, enjoyed a good meal especially a key lime pie. Traveled to many places in the world with his wife and friends. He was never shy to share stories of his good days or his bad ones. Over many years he had a strong strength to overcome many health obstacles but has finally given his life over to God. May he rest in peace.
Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Manford and Clemenza Hull. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Catchpole Hull, sister Marilyn Hull Hines and brother Douglas Hull. As well as his children Jeff and Trudi (daughter-in-law) Hull, Craig and Kathy (daughter-in-law) and grandchildren: Grant, Sydney, Madeline and Cameron Hull.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at Vero Christian Church with a to be determine date.
