David A. Kastrup, 55, of Palm City, Florida, passed away suddenly on January 23, 2018 at the Martin Medical Center in Stuart, Florida.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was a resident of West Chester, Ohio before moving to Stuart and Palm City 7 years ago/prior.

He was a mechanical and combustion engineer with Paradigm Precision in Stuart, Florida, and had previously worked for General Electric in Cincinnati.

He was of the Catholic faith. He coached soccer for many years in West Chester and had been a member of the Fairfield Ohio Optimists. He also spent 15 years as a sound engineer for a local Cincinnati band Blue Stone Ivory.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Christine Kastrup of Palm City; his children, Andrew Kastrup of West Chester; Megan Ravindra and her husband Harsha of Tallahassee, Florida; Allison Kastrup and Kevin Kastrup of Palm City; his parents, Daniel and Ann Kastrup of Cincinnati, Ohio; his father and mother in law, Ernest and LuAnn Rich of Hamilton, Ohio; and brothers Daniel and wife Pamela of North Bend, Ohio, James and wife Amy of Cincinnati, Ohio, John and wife Tammy of Las Vegas, Nevada; and sister Marie McMasters of Mason, Ohio; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City, FL, with a funeral service immediately following at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
