Obituary of David Sheldon

David Merton Sheldon, 73, of Palm City, died May 19, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Flint, MI and had been a resident of Palm City since 1988 having moved from Midland, MI. David was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a graduate of Northwood Institute in Midland, MI. Before retirement, he was President of Ultra Carbon Corporation. He was a member of Palm City Presbyterian Church and the Martin Down's Country Club in Palm City.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joan Sheldon of Palm City; son, Scott David Sheldon and his wife Lisa of Clarkston, MI; 2 granddaughters, Emma Hope and Melanee Lynn and his brother, Robert Weston Sheldon and his wife Melinda of Boca Raton.

A memorial service will be held: 11:00AM, May 26, 2011 at Palm City Presbyterian Church.
