Davis Harold Petit, 76, died Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Born in Trinidad, West Indies, he moved to Port Saint Lucie in 1988 from there.
He was a retired land surveyor.
He was Catholic and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Port Saint Lucie.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Myrna Petit of Port Saint Lucie; son, Steven Petit of North Richland Hills, TX; daughters, Gina Look of Brisbane, Australia and Karla Haen of Richardson, TX; mother, Antonia Petit of Canada; sisters, Antonia Ho Wong of Canada; Daphne Petit of Trinidad; Olivia McCarthy of Canada; Linda Moreland of Trinidad; Jenny Lue King of Canada; and five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Parkway, Marietta, GA 30067; phone: (678) 385-2000 or https://donate.americanheart.org.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM, Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port Saint Lucie. Inurnment will be at a later date at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City.
