Deborah, beloved wife and mother, passed away on August 15th, 2021 at Tradition Medical Center surrounded by her loving husband of 34 years, George, and their two devoted sons, Christopher and Anthony, following a difficult battle with Covid-19.

Born in Glen Cove, New York, to parents Michael J. and Irene Calandriello, Debbie grew up in New Hyde Park, NY along with her three brothers. Debbie graduated from Herricks High School in 1982.

Debbie and George first met at Freeport Speedway in Freeport, NY in August 1982, upon introduction by their future best man and maid of honor. They married on October 31st, 1986 , sharing a life together lasting nearly 40 years though ending too soon.

Debbie worked in various capacities at different places throughout her life, most notably as office manager of their family's business. However, most meaningful to Debbie was her role within the family, both as a devoted wife and especially as a fiercely dedicated mother raising two loving and strong sons.

Debbie will be lovingly remembered for her kindness of heart, gentle strength, and generosity of spirit.

Debbie was predeceased by her parents, Michael J. and Irene Calandriello, and by two of her brothers, Michael F. Calandriello and John LaRocca.

In addition to husband George De Angelis, Debbie is survived by:

Her children, Christopher M. (Kimberly) De Angelis and Anthony G. De Angelis.

Her grandchildren, Brooklyn M. De Angelis, Christopher M. De Angelis, Jr., and Arabella R. De Angelis.

Nieces/Nephews: Danielle M. Corona, Gina Carrai, Tiffany Calandriello, and Michael Calandriello, as well as three great-nieces and one great-nephew.

Her in-laws, George De Angelis, Marie De Angelis, Diane Calendriello,  and Diane De Angelis.

And, last but not least, her beloved, 4-pawed partner in crime, Miley.

Services:

A Celebration of Life will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City, Florida on September 18th, 2021 at 1pm . In Debbie's memory, especially because of the nature of her passing, and out of respect for her family, we are requesting that everyone in attendance be mindful of current CDC guidelines; i.e., please wear a mask and practice safe social distancing protocols so as to prevent any further loss of life resulting from this disease.

Due to the continuing threat of Covid-19 and the high risk of transmission during large gatherings, we regretfully will not be having a reception following the Celebration of Life.
