Obituary of Della Hayes
Della Irene Hayes, 89, of Jensen Beach, Florida, died June 24, 2012 at Treasure Coast Hospice, Harper House, Stuart.
Born in McAlester, Oklahoma, she had been a resident of Jensen Beach for 30 years coming from Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
During World War II she served in the U.S. Navy as a nurse.
Prior to retiring she was a data analyst with Boeing/McDonnell- Douglas Long Beach, California for 28 years. She was also a dance instructor with the Fred Astaire Dance Studios in California.
She was a member of First Baptist Jensen Beach Church, Jensen Beach, Florida.
Survivors include daughters, Cee Roth and Erneen Reid both of Stuart; a son Conal Moran of Big Pine Key, Florida; thirteen grandchildren and twenty eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hayes and daughters, Karen Jones and Patricia Hiatt.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 PM on June 30, 2012 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City with a service at 2:00 PM.
