Obituary of Delores Mays

Delores Ann Mays, 78, of Port St, Lucie, Florida, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2015 at her home.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, Delores had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 30 years coming from Hilliard, Ohio. Delores was a lifelong Ohio State Buckeye fan, one of her favorite phrases was: Once a buckeye, always a buckeye.' For those that knew Delores, her children and family always came first and she was the epitome of unconditional love and acceptance. Delores leaves a legacy for her children, she taught them to live their lives with unconditional love and acceptance.

Delores was an assembler at TamLite in Port St. Lucie West for the past 16 years; known as Ms. Dee. Delores held several positions throughout her life as an assembler in Ohio and Florida. She always gave 100% to all positions and companies.

Survivors include her daughters, DeLeana Strohl (Vickie O'Dell) of Altoona, WI: Tonya Mays of Port St. Lucie; her son Robert E. Mays (Rene Tonn) of Grove City, OH; her sisters, Patricia Dahmer of Boynton Beach, FL, Beverly Axline (Don Axline) of Niles, MI, Sharon Gearheart (Bobby Gearheart) of Columbus, OH, Loretta Murib of Grove City, OH and Linda Gearheart of Trenton, NJ; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Eugene Mays and sisters, Vera Louise Barrows and Donna Jean Dolphi.
