Obituary of Denise Christman
Denise A. Christman, 54, of Jensen Beach, passed away December 14, 2009 at Hospice of Palm Beach Gardens. She was born in Ames, Iowa, and had been a resident of the treasure coast since 1971, having moved from Inianola, Iowa. Denise attended High School in King Ferdinand's Castle in Spain, and was a graduate of Martin County High School in the class of 1973. She was a member of the Sons of Norway - Gulfstream Lodge in Jensen Beach. She retired from the Martin County Tax Collectors office after 35 years as a manager.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Joe B. Christman of Jensen Beach; daughters, Jennifer DiMatteo of Port St. Lucie and Melissa Rodriguez of Port St. Lucie; sons, Michael Mausshardt of Jacksonville, Joe B. Christman Jr. of Jensen Beach and Daryl W. Christman of Jensen Beach; 3 gransons; brother, Richard Hummel of Murphy, NC and a sister, Nancy Mahoney of Bolton, MA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Randi Hummel.
Visitation will be 11:00AM - 1:00PM, Saturday, at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
Funeral service will follow at 1:00PM in the Chapel. Interment will take place in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
