Obituary of Dennis Freestone
Dennis R. Freestone, 70, of Palm City, died December 15, 2013 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce. He was the son of Leslie and Virginia Freestone and was born March 21, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA. He had been a resident of Palm City for 6 months, having moved from Boca Raton. Dennis retired from the FAU Campus Police Department after 22 years.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Theresa Freestone, of Palm City and 3 of his daughters, Kim Shaw, of Fort Pierce, Kelly Guttveg, of Palm City, and Kristy Biskup, of Homestead; sisters, Linda Endrick of Holland, PA, and Donna Bartie of Newtown, PA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dennis R. Freestone, Jr., and his daughter, Karen Costanzo.
Services have been scheduled for January 11, 2014, at 1:00.
Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel, have been entrusted with arrangements.
