DIANE BARBARA DEKIS HARRISON
Born on March 30, 1951 and passed away September 26, 2018. She was born in Trenton, New Jersey and graduated from Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
Diane moved to Florida over forty years ago.
Diane battled stage four breast cancer for eight years and never complained of anything. She remained a good friend to her friends and was always loving support to her husband Michael.
She was predeceased by her parents, John J. and Mary C. Dekis and her brothers Mark and Barry Dekis.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Michael; her sister Cathy Sunshine (Eric); her brother John; her godson and nephew, Dominic Ciaramella (Kayti); nieces Elyse Ciaramella and Natalie Gardiner (Chase); great niece Kailey and great nephew Angelo; niece Dana Dekis; nephews John Dekis and Nick Pasquarello (Nicole); great nephew Jack; Aunt Magda Dekis and several cousins. ….and Smudge, her beloved cat.
Twenty years ago she founded Signature Property Management which has gone to be one of the most respected companies in the industry. The reputation of the company was unparalleled because of her honesty, integrity and care. Diane loved her work and the people she worked with. Diane was also a Notary Public.
Diane was a grand hostess and her house parties were legendary. She loved to cook. She also loved the trips she and Michael took to Las Vegas, Savannah, Charleston, Universal and Disney.
The family wants to thank Diane's close friends; Russell and Carol Kerry; Diane (Black) and Dennis Shannahan; Frank and Ella Pisano for all of their loving support through the long journey.
It is Diane's wish that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, Alzhiemers Association or Dogs and Cats Forever.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
