Dolores Victoria Paonessa, 84, of Stuart, FL, passed away on May 18, 2016 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Harper House, Stuart.

Born in Bronx, NY, she had been a resident of Stuart for 46 years coming from New Britain, CT.

Before retiring she and her husband were the owners of All Sweet Bakery in Stuart and later in Jensen Beach. They also had owned the Pelican Hotel in Stuart.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Stuart.

Survivors include her daughter, Denice P. Fish and her husband John of Nashville, TN; her sons, John Paonessa Jr of West Virginia and James Paonessa of Stuart; her sister, Victoria Varano and her husband, John of Casselberry, FL; her grandchildren, Nickole Spencer, Angela Paonessa, Bailey Fish, Beau Fish, Lillie Fish and Dustin Paonessa and her great-grandchildren, Winter Spencer, Lyla Spencer, Exavier Paonessa, Kingston Paonessa, Tigerlily Tashian, Tinkerbell Tashian and Matilda Tashian. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Paonessa; her daughter, Victoria A. Paonessa and five siblings.

There will be a memorial service at a later date. Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, FL.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL.
