Obituary of Dolores Scherer

Dolores K. Scherer, 67, of Stuart, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Harper House, Stuart.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she had been a resident of Stuart for 22 years coming from Brentwood, NY.

Prior to retiring she had been a cook at Northeast Elementary School in Brentwood for 15 years.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Harry Scherer of Stuart; her daughter, Patricia Hatzisarris and her husband Steven of Selden, NY; her son, Richard Scherer and his wife Patricia of West Babylon, NY; her sisters, Jeanette Roth and her husband Richard of Holbrook, NY and Sharon Crisi and her husband Frank of Oldsmar, FL; her brother, Kenneth Brill and his wife Lee of Ronkonkoma, NY; five grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Rose Brill; a brother, Harry Brill and a sister, Jean Rossler.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
