Obituary of Dolores Silvestri

Dolores Silvestri, 83, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, she had lived in Port St. Lucie for 5 years coming from West Palm Beach where she had lived for 12 years. She came to Florida from Keyport, NJ where she was a resident for over 40 years.

She was a homemaker.

She was of the Catholic Faith and had attended Holy Family Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joseph Silvestri of Port St. Lucie; her daughters, Suzanne Giovinazzo and her husband Gregory of Port St. Lucie, Sandra Shapiro and her husband Brian of New Jersey, Sharon Materio and her husband Phillip of West Palm Beach and Patricia Kenney and Her husband Mark of Port St. Lucie; her son, Joseph Silvestri and his wife Jeannette of Key Largo, FL a sister Barbara; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Giovanna Tamburri; a brother, Carl Tamburri and grandsons, Joseph Thornton and Brandon Mc George.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City. There will be a funeral prayer service at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 5, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City.
