Obituary of Dolores Yochum
Dolores E. Yochum, 83, died Sunday, February 18, 2007 at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart.
Born in Ohio, she has resided in Palm City since 1994 coming from Hialeah.
Prior to retirement, she was a teacher and was a pioneer in special education. She was employed by Miami-Dade School Board.
She was Catholic and a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City.
She was a Board Member of Martin County Literacy Council; vice-president of Charter Club and a member of Martin County Democratic League of Voters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Yochum and sister, Ruth Schukert.
She is survived by her son, John R. Yochum of Loxahatchee and Mark Yochum of Stuart; daughter, Christine Federico of Palm City; brother, Michael Schukert of Palm Coast and five grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Martin County Literacy Counci, 2351 SE Monterey Rd., The Blake Library, Stuart, FL 34996
