Obituary of Dominick Corrieri
Dominick."Cagney" Corrieri, 90, of Delray Beach, FL, died on Nov. 5, 2012 at the Delray Medical Center, Delray Beach, FL. Born on 97th Street in Manhattan, NY, he had been a resident of the Delray Beach for a 16 years coming from Mineola, NY. During World War II he served in the US Navy. He also had worked in the New York Area Naval Shipyards during World War II. He had owned various businesses before retiring, he worked for Nassau County Park and Recreation in Bethpage, NY for over 20 years. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Angelina Corrieri of Delray Beach; a daughter Camille(Kevin) McLaughlin of Stuart, FL; a son, Thomas Corrieri of Ames, IA; a sister Josephine DeFrisco of Boynton Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Nicole (Joseph) Gaudino, Alex(Diana) McLaughlin, Maria Christina (John) DePaulis, Damien Corrieri (Amber) and Erica (Mark) Corrieri and five great-grandchildren, Kayla, Christian, Jordan, Isabella and Giovanni. He was preceded in death by brothers, Giovanni Corrieri and Thomas Corrieri and sisters, Teresa Federico and Jane Cerrella and a great-grandson Michael Dominick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Nov. 8, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1200 E 10th Street, Stuart. Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel.
