Donald Paul Achor passed away on June 22, 2020 at 73 years old after 2 years and 6 months of battling an aggressive Brain Cancer Tumor ( Glioblastoma Multiforme stage 4 or GBM).
He was a brave warrior, and the true warrior never worries about his fear.
Our faith in god doesn't always mean god will change our situation, sometimes it means he changes you.
Donald, was born in Logansport, Indiana on November 5, 1946. His parents were Paul Achor and Dorothy G. Heuser., Donald has 4 sisters ,Dolores Lambert, Pamela Francis ,Peggy Achor (deceased) and Patricia Mummert (deceased)and a brother Dean Achor. Donald was an amazing son and hardworking man .
He served this country with honor in the Navy in Panama City,Florida in 1965 until 1969, a total of 4 years of service with a character of service  that was honorable.
He had a Master's degree in aerospace engineering and worked at Pratt Whitney for 26 years until he retired. After a brief retirement of a few months on vacation Donald decided  to go back to work as an engineer due to his passion for his work. Don also worked at Belcan as an engineer for 18 years with loyalty.
He was previously married to Linda Brandenburg and they had 3 children; Susan Williams, Jennifer Rothell and Mark Achor.
Linda passed away in February of 2015. A few months later, he met Cleide Lockwood who had 2 children from a prior marriage; Thulio Rocha and Thamirys Castro. Don and Cleide married on January 23,2016.
A new chapter began with a new life and a happy family, who surrounded him with love and respect until the last day of his life.
As a husband words cannot describe how lovely and amazing Don was all the time.
He was my best friend, who I always could count with, I was always very proud of him for the way he was with my kids. He was always an amazing father and great grandfather.
We will always love him for the person he was not because of the benefits he could give to us, but because we know those benefits can go away and it is your legacy that matters in life.
He passed away peacefully in Cleide's arms his dedicated wife who was surrounded by the true family, one of love and respect. Donald also leaves behind a special friend Pegg Hall who knew him for all of his life.
