Donald Jackson, 82, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on August 10, 2016 at his home.

Born in Neptune City, NJ, he had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 26 years coming from Fort Lauderdale.

He was a career member of the military, serving for 20 years in the U.S. Navy. He was a submariner and had attained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Jane Jackson of Port St. Lucie; his sons Joseph Jackson of Port St. Lucie, James Jackson and his wife Genny of Castle Rock, CO and Bruce Jackson of Hilliard, FL; his daughters, Theresa Gunter and her husband Jerry of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Denise Edmunds Jackson and her husband Lee Edmunds of Trenton, FL and Jane Harrington of Jacksonville, FL; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and five siblings. He was preceded in death by seven siblings.
