Donald Robert Owens, 90, of Palm City, Florida, passed away on December 29, 2018 at Martin Medical Center, Stuart, Florida.

Born in Watson, WV, he had been a resident of Palm City for over 30 years coming from La Plata, MD.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy

Before retiring he was the owner of 301 Ranch Casino in Waldorf, MD and the Silver Spur Casino in Carson City, NV.  He was a member of the Evergreen club in Palm City and the Order of JC's.

Survivor include his son, D. Brent Owens and his wife Diane of Hernando, FL; his daughter Sherie Owens Brown and her husband Ellis of Palm City; his brothers, Walter Owens of Rivesville, WV and Durward Owens of Palm City; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
