Obituary of Donald Post
Donald J. Post, 78, of Palm City, Florida, died November 27, 2010 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Hay-Madeira House, Stuart, Florida.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, he had been a resident of Palm City for 10 years coming from Miami, where he lived for 53 years. He came to Florida from his birthplace.
During the Korean War, he served in the US Army attaining the rank of First Lieutenant. He was a graduate of and received his law degree from the University of Miami.
Before retiring he was a prominent lawyer in Miami for over 25 years. He was a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates since 1973. He also was a member of the La Gorce Country Club, Miami Beach and Monarch Country Club.
Survivors include his wife Margaret "Peggy" Vrooman Post of Palm City; Sons, Keith D. Post of Tallahassee, Florida and Kent Post of Miami; a daughter, Cindy Massion of Tallahassee; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Kirk Post.
SERVICES: There will be a memorial gathering from 12:00 to 12:30 PM with a Celebration of Life at 12:30 PM on December 4, 2010 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel, with military honors provided by the US Army.
