Doris B. Kurish, 90, of Port St. Lucie, passed away December 22, 2016. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and had been a resident of Florida since 1960, having relocated from New York. She was a secretary for the 4th District Court of Appeals for the State of Florida located in Palm Beach County before retirement. She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie.
Doris was an avid photographer and loved sharing her pictures with friends and family. She also enjoyed spending her time with her family and was honored to see her grandchildren become productive adults and bless her with 4 great grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, having been to Europe, Canada and several places in the United States but she loved home the best. She was a loving mother and friend touching the hearts of everyone she knew. She will be missed by all.
She is survived by her sons, James and his wife Laura of Macon, GA and Tom of Palm City; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Josephine Brozon and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy; sister, Marion Brozon and her parents, Kitty and Benjamin Brozon.
Visitation: 9-10:30AM, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie.
Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City.
