Obituary of Doris Sherlock
Doris Sherlock, 91, of Stuart, passed away on May 26, 2015 at her residence. She was born in New York City, NY and had been a resident of Stuart since 1985, having moved from Hicksville, NY. She had been a secretary for Meenan Oil Company in NY, before retirement. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City.
She is survived by her daughters; Diane Alagna and her husband Phil of Palm City and Dolores Romano and her husband Joe of Stuart; son, Donald Sherlock of Hicksville, NY; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sherlock.
Doris was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her entire family gathered together with her, a few days before her passing, to show their love and honor her.
Visitation: 6:00pm - 9:00PM, Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00AM, Friday, May 29, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
