Obituary of Dorothy Brewster
Dorothy Dottie Florence Brewster, 80, died Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Martin Memorial Hospital South in Stuart.
Born in Massachusetts, she has resided in Hobe Sound for 20 years, coming from Palm Beach County, FL and New Jersey.
She was a homemaker.
She was protestant.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Robert and Lauren Buckelew of New Jersey; sister-in-law, Irene McLean of Ocala.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Brewster; son, Robert Buckelew; brother, Arthur John McLean; and sister, Phyllis Jean Shaw.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Martin/Okeechobee Unit, 865 SE Monterey Commons Blvd., Stuart, FL 34994; (772)287-7457; www.cancer.org.
Services: Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 12 Noon, Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City. Chapel Services will begin at 12 Noon with Dr. Charles R. Mory of First Congregational Church of Palm City officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
