Obituary of Dorothy Grossman
Dorothy Zupancic-Grossman of Palm City passed away quietly Saturday morning, Nov. 22, 2008.
Dorothy was a charter member of The Evergreen Club in Palm City for the last 28 years. Born in Muncie, Indiana, February 27, 1923, her family moved to Shaker Heights, Ohio. She majored in physical education in College. As an all-American athlete, Dorothy excelled in swimming, diving, tennis, and Golf. She was a wonderful wife to Andrew Smith, John Zupancic and Joseph Grossman. She moved to Palm City from Cleveland where John had a concrete contracting business. She was a member of Palm City Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Brastine of University Heights, OH, Grandsons Michael and Graham Ruggie and Great-Granddaughters Analicia and Sophia Ruggie, nieces Silva Kutnar, Anica Toth and Diann Thomas and many dear and caring friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast or to the Palm City Presbyterian Church, Building Fund.
Services: Tuesday, 2 - 4PM at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel.
