Obituary of Dorothy Werner

Dorothy Werner, 86, of Stuart, passed away July 4, 2009 at Martin Nursing and Restorative Care in Stuart. She had been a resident of the Stuart area since 1981, having moved from Wantagh, NY. She had been a secretary for Hofstra University in Hempstead, Long Island, NY before retirement. She was an active member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City, and was past president of the Women's guild at the church.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Werner Jr. of Sebastian and Kevin Werner of Stuart; daughters, Linda Mirabella of Rockaway, NJ, Jeanne Gualtieri of Wantagh, NY and Nancy Boschen of Poughkeepsie, NY; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Heitner of Florida and a brother, Edmund Hamer of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Werner.

Visitation will be Thursday, 2-4:00PM and 7-9:00PM at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00AM Friday, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, in Dorothy's memory.
