Obituary of Dorothy Smoak

Dorothy V. Smoak, 87, of formerly of Stuart, Florida, passed away on October 8, 2013 in Aiken, South Carolina.

Born in Vero Beach, Florida, she was a resident of Aiken for the past few years coming from, Stuart.

She was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include daughters, Starr Johnson and her husband Allen of Aiken and Jill Pickett and her husband Brett of Port St. Lucie, FL; two grandchildren, Bobby Johnson and his wife Jennifer of Aiken and Jeff Johnson and his wife, Nancy of Stuart, and three great grandchildren, Jacob Johnson and Hailey Johnson, both of Aiken and Mia Lynn Johnson of Stuart. She was preceded in death by her husband Jefferson M. Smoak in 2010 and five siblings.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow immediately in the Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
