Obituary of Dorothy Vogeley

Dorothy G. Vogeley, 82, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died February 20, 2010 at her home.

Born in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, she had lived in Port St. Lucie for 27 years coming from Tarentum, PA.

She had been a registered nurse in the obstetrics unit of Allegany Hospital in Pennsylvania until 1982 and retired form Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Fort Pierce in 1992.

She was a member of Bull Creek Presbyterian Church, West Deer, Pennsylvania.

She enjoyed cooking and baking and loved feeding and watching birds.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, George W. Vogeley of Port St. Lucie; daughters Sandra Killian of Oakland, Maryland and Terri Lynn Marasia of Sarver, Pennsylvania; sons George Vogeley of Port St. Lucie, Darrell Vogeley of Baytown, Texas, David Vogeley of Fort Pierce, Florida, Daniel Vogeley of Miami, Florida and Gary Vogeley of Port St. Lucie; sisters Phyllis Campbell of Houston, Texas and Betty Patsko of West Deer; fourteen grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on February 25, 2010, at Forest Hills Funeral Homes - Palm City Chapel with a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
